We are holding our 2nd Annual ONS-United Way Poker Run on May 31st; all proceeds will go towards helping the United Way to help fund groups/individual/agencies within our areas who are less fortunate. Last year’s ride profited $5,000 which pleased us (the committee) very much in our first endeavor to sponsor a Poker Run.This year’s ride will be held on Saturday May 31st, with the ride ending at Charlie T’s in Anderson, SC. The ride also sponsors food,
door prizes, and entertainment for those who participate or just happen upon our celebration.

This year’s entertainment is by a local band “MODERN RELIC”. This band ROCKS, playing music from Skynard to Metallica. They always “pack in a crowd” wherever they play. Check out their web page: “Modern-Relic.com”; you’ll see they also advertise for WROQ 101.1
