Ride with us on Saturday, June 14, 2008 in an event of epic proportions. Dedicated motorcycle enthusiasts will gather in a show of support and compassion toward foster children by riding simultaneously in 8 states and 25 cities throughout the United States to raise money for this worthy cause. The event will start and finish locally in Columbia, SC.
This event presents an outstanding marketing opportunity for Columbia and surrounding areas. The format will be riders pay a registration fee of $20. A passenger may ride for $15 and to purchase an extra card will be $5. Riders will begin their ride which will be approximately 70 miles. It is not a timed event but a pleasure ride with three stops. At the beginning, the three stops and the end, the riders will draw a card. Upon conclusion, the rider with the best hand will win a grand local prize. The local rider’s hand will be entered and if it is the best hand of all 25 runs, the rider will win a national prize. We would ask The Fort to be present throughout the event with an opportunity to emcee the event.
